Step 1: Protect Your Home & Remove the Old Tub
First things first, we treat your home like our own. We lay down extensive protection on your floors and walls to keep everything clean. Then, the old tub is demolished and removed, the space is cleaned, and the existing plumbing is exposed for the next step.
Step 2: Reconfigure Plumbing & Install the New Shower Pan
This is the most critical part of the job, and it’s where cheap contractors cut corners. We properly move the drain to the correct location for a shower, lay down the liner, then perform a 24-hour flood test—required by city code but skipped by most contractors—to guarantee your new shower is 100% leak-proof for life. Then we build a new, rock-solid concrete shower pan (never a cheap, flimsy acrylic base that will crack), and apply our signature double-layer waterproofing system.
Step 3: Tile & Grout
